The Trailblazers

While many people readily acknowledge Kirsten Cummings for her role in founding the NSWBA, and Linda Cord for her role in helping the NSWBA get rolling, Kirsten and Linda are the first to want to pass those accolades on to the amazing men and women before them who played a significant role in the growth of senior women's basketball.

In this section of our website, we'd like to thank and acknowledge the pioneers of senior women's basketball.  They paved the way to making senior women's basketball the great game it is today!

We will continue to learn more about more about the history of senior women's basketball and gather more and more stories to share with you about its humble beginnings from around the globe.
