Wow! What an awesome tournament at the 2011 National Senior Games in Houston!
Nearly 100 teams were there, over 600 women basketball players! Plus, the tournament format was changed and more medals were given out!The NSWBA sends out a huge congratulations to all teams who participated!
The NSWBA Social Nights on June 17 and June 20 were a smashing success. Both nights were SOLD OUT and luckily we were able to accommodate a few more, too!
A total of nearly 300 senior women basketball players came together for 2 nights of food, fun, and festivities in the beautiful Spaghetti Warehouse in downtown Houston!
From the NSWBA Social Nights, we're happy to report we were able to sign on 39 new Charter Members, 6 new Life Members, and 9 new Honorary Members (80+)!
Kay Seamayer kicked off both nights with her, "Get Up, Get Out, and Get Your Move On," and we ended the night givinng away some wonderful door prizes. A special thanks to all who donated:
- a full registration fee valued at $230 for Deb Smith's Not 2 Late Camp to be held in August 4-7, 2011
- $50 Gift Certificate from Coach K's Silver Swan Sports Coaching company
- $50 Gift Certificate for the golfers in the group from www.BeGolfthentic.com
- NSWBA logo shirts from LogoNotions.com
- and many more great door prizes!
Plus, every Social Night participant who was a Charter Member received a complimentary copy of Coach K's Top 3 Drills instructional DVD!
On top of that, EVERYONE who attended the Social Night received a very cool, gold NSWBA logo towel!
The reviews were wonderful and we had two nights of FUN!
